varlet — branding

Varlet, exquisite and functional furniture for hotels and retail

Converting an innovative idea into a product and presenting it to the market by designing a brand that transmits its most genuine values is an exciting experience for the client and the studio. Channeling that energy in common makes each stage of the project a challenge.

The first, to find the name, with the aim of also becoming the denominator of a new category of furniture. Varlet is the person who acts as a personal assistant, a word in disuse recovered from the 15th century. The graphic formalization of the visual system represents with a bow tie all the elegance and functionality of this unique product.

The importance of detail

The catalog, its first element of introduction, is descriptive and inspiring. Bringing the new functionality to different environments that provide the personal vision of those who have already made it their own. Carefully designed to reflect the quality of the materials and finishes of the product itself, such as marble and metal.

Hotels, restaurants and first-class venues in our country already have some of their versions, El Celler de Can Roca, Ramón Freixa Madrid, The Serras Hotel to name a few...

A single functionality and multiple personalities, also typographical

The first collection is One, designed by Andreu Carulla. As a sign of the commitment to the local industry, the designer Ana Zueras, winner of the contest held in Elisava, signs the Bastón. The younger brother Monocle completes the family. The typographic exercise for each collection is honest, descriptive and elegant for a brand thought, designed and produced entirely in our country.
